Our program is designed for children aged 6-12 years old. We tailor our lessons to suit various learning levels, from beginners to intermediate students.
Classes are offered twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You can choose between attending once or twice a week.
We start with Hangul, the Korean alphabet, and progress through vocabulary, basic grammar, and conversational skills. In addition to language, we integrate Korean cultural activities such as traditional games, arts, crafts, and learning about Korean holidays.
Our classes are taught primarily in Korean to create a language immersion experience. Instructors may use English for clarification, especially for beginners, but the goal is for students to gain as much exposure to Korean as possible.
Yes, we offer pick-up services from both Murray Park and Court Square bus stops for students enrolled in the K-talk Afterschool Program.
No prior knowledge of Korean is required. Our program welcomes beginners as well as students with intermediate skills who want to enhance their language proficiency.
There are no make-up classes. We follow the NYC DOE Calendar and offer our afterschool program on all days when NYC public schools are in session. Feel free to reach out to us via email or phone for any additional questions. We’re here to help!
